Greetings! Thanks for visiting Pilgrim Lutheran Church and School. My name is Scott Malme, and I serve as the Senior Pastor here at Pilgrim. I am originally from Minnesota, graduating from Concordia College, St. Paul in 1987. I studied for the ministry at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, receiving an M. Div. degree in 1991. I formerly served St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rockford, IL, and have been serving Pilgrim since September, 2001. We at Pilgrim look forward to God's desire for and exciting and growing ministry in the future and invite you to be a part of what God is doing here in any way possible. Greetings! I am the Associate Pastor at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, as of August 2017. My wife is Kristen, and our two kids are Kathryn and Nathan. Prior to serving here, I served at Trinity Lutheran Ministries in Jackson, MI where in addition to regular pastor duties, I had the opportunity to plant a church, and revitalize another congregation in our circuit. After graduation from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2006, I attended Concordia Seminary, graduating in 2010. While at the Seminary, I was able to serve as President of our Student Association. I returned to Seminary in 2013 to begin working on a PhD, which I finished in May 2021. I am a football enthusiast, I played a few years at CUW, and am a Packers and Badgers fan. Other hobbies include cars and fishing.
Hello! I am Dante Pronsati and I have the privilege of being the 17th Vicar here at Pilgrim. I am here for the year as part of my education from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. I am from lots of places but Philadelphia is where I claim as home. My wife Reagan and I met at Concordia University Texas in Austin Texas wherewe both graduated. I also worked as a summer camp counselor at Camp Pioneer in NY and Camp Lonestar in TX. I would love to get the chance to talk to you and share Jesus' message of love and salvation that He wants for your life. I love sports, especially soccer, my favorite team is Arsenal. I support all of my hometown teams from Philadelphia. I to play board games and video games, really anything to scratch that competitive itch! I also love to watch movies, my favorites are Lord of the Rings, the Marvel universe and Star Wars.

Teachers College (now university) in Seward, Nebraska where I met my wife
Rosemary. We have three daughters and
eight grandchildren. I graduated from Concordia with a degree in science and
elementary education. After graduation, we have lived in Ohio, where I graduated with a masters degree in administration. We have also lived in Iowa and Milwaukee before moving to Green Bay. My experience ranges from teaching elementary school, director of Christian education, administration of elementary schools, supervisor of instruction, and adult education instructor in mathematics. I am very pleased to be able to work with the families of Pilgrim Lutheran school.
Hello! I am Rebekah, the Youth and Family Ministry Director at Pilgrim. I grew up in Idaho with my brother (Luke), twin sister (Rachel) and younger sister(Hannah), and my wonderful parents! I have had many other homes in my life, but nothing compares to the home I am looking forward too with Jesus. I desire everyone to know that they are radically loved by God. My hobbies include hiking, kayaking, photography, painting, traveling, being with family & friends, and playing games. I attended Concordia University in Wisconsin, where I studied Ministry and Architectural Design. I previously served at a congregation in Minnesota, Luther University in Seoul, South Korea, a refugee Congolese congregation in Milwaukee, and at Camp Perkins in Idaho for 4 summers (Pastor Malme also served there!). I am currently so thankful to encounter so many people, families and youth in Green Bay by serving as the Director of Youth & Family Ministries at Pilgrim Lutheran Church & School. My name is Ruth Mackie, and I'm the Director of Music at Pilgrim. I have a degree in Elementary Education from Concordia College, Seward, Nebraska, and a Director of Christian Education certification from Concordia College, St. Paul, Minnesota. My career in Lutheran ministry has taken me to St. John Lutheran Church and School in Defiance, Ohio; Holy Cross Lutheran Church in O'Fallon, Missouri; Our Savior and St. John Lutheran Churches in McGregor and Wright, Minnesota; St. John Lutheran Church in Good Thunder, Minnesota; Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Mankato, Minnesota; and, most recently, Trinity Lutheran Church and School in Conklin, Michigan. I arrived at Pilgrim in July, 2022. My husband Roger and I have been married for 41 years and have four sons, three daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren. I'm very pleased to be serving here at Pilgrim and look forward to making music with God's children of all ages!
Aaron came from behind scenes as our “off-hours IT person” to onsite IT Director. He answers the call when we need help with computers, phones, printer, you name it and he fixes it. His expertise in computers has aided us in updating to the modern technology needed for our staff and students. In addition, he is also a fantastic organist who regularly plays at Pilgrim on the weekends. Aaron also loves diesel trucks, Kwik Trip, and Diet Mountain Dew.
My name is Dawn Kirchner and I have been employed with Pilgrim Lutheran Church and School since 2018. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a B.S. in Management and Silver Lake College with a M.S. in Management and Organizational Behavior. After being in the corporate world for the past 20 years in various Human Resource, Wellness, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Technology and Management capacities, I decided to look for something that was more suitable for my children and family. I feel very honored and blessed to be a part of such a wonderful Christian environment. In my spare time, I enjoy family activities, sports, physical fitness, and being outdoors.
My name is JJ Schultz. I have been teaching since 2005. I attended Concordia University Mequon in Wisconsin to get my undergraduate degree. I have a double major in Elementary Ed. as well as Physical Ed. That is also where I met my wife Andrea Schultz. We have four children: Hayden, Isabella, Emmett, and Micah.
My first teaching call, my wife and I took together to Immanuel Lutheran School in Bay City Michigan. Then my wife and I both accepted a teaching call to New Hope Christian School in Neenah, WI. I really enjoy playing city league sports such as volleyball, basketball, and softball. I love spending time with my family watching movies, having worship together, and playing tons of different board games. I am so very excited to start yet another year of ministry in teaching children various skills such as hard work, organization, and resiliency.Over everything else I am excited to bring God to these kids. He is such a wonderful Creator and Savior and I am so very blessed to have the opportunity to teach, coach, and get to know these wonderful young children. My name is Michael Schumm. I was born and raised outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before moving to Wisconsin to go to college. I graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a degree in Secondary Education-History and a minor in Theology. That is where I met my amazing wife, Kelly, who I am blessed to be able to work with again. I have also served at Topeka Lutheran in Topeka, Kansas and at St. James Lutheran in Shawano, Wisconsin prior to accepting the call to Pilgrim Lutheran School.
My name is Kelly Schumm. I attended Concordia University of Wisconsin in Mequon and received a degree in Elementary Education in 2010. I married my husband, Michael Schumm, in June of 2011 here in Green Bay. We are blessed with two children, Reagan and Zoe. I love teaching at Pilgrim where the atmosphere is welcoming and Christ-centered. The faculty and staff are a joy to work with, and I love teaching the Word of God to his little lambs.
Hi! My name is Lynnette Hansen. I am the 5th Grade Homeroom teacher, 5-8 grade Reading teacher, Librarian, and Assistant Principal. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with minors in Language Arts and Mathematics from Concordia University - WI in 2006. Before coming to Pilgrim, I taught at Immanuel Lutheran in Wisconsin Rapids for 11 years. In 2009-2011, I completed my Master’s Degree in Technology Education from Concordia University - WI. I have two children, Trisha and Lucas. I love teaching and showing the Love of Jesus to my students on a daily basis and watching them grow and mature. Besides teaching, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, watching movies, coaching track, and playing Ultimate Frisbee (not to be confused with Disc Golf).
I am so excited to be a part of the Pilgrim Lutheran School staff! I received my teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2000 with a degree in Elementary Education and minor in Science. I worked at Pulaski Community Middle School teaching math, science, reading and language arts until I chose to be a stay at home mother to my three children. In 2014, I joined the teaching staff here at Pilgrim where I was once again able to teach amazing kids each and every day! Currently, I teach 5th-8th grade science and 7th and 8th grade math. In addition to teaching, I coach volleyball and help coordinate Glory Girls. It is such a blessing to be a part of a school where we can share Jesus' love with the students each and every day.
Hola! I am blessed to be the new Spanish teacher at Pilgrim. I attended Valparaiso University in Indiana and North Central College in Illinois, graduating with majors in English and Spanish. I earned my Masters in Education from Viterbo University. Over the years God provided me with the opportunities to study for a summer in Guadalajara, Mexico, and also to participate in a missions trip to Costa Rica. This will be my 32nd year teaching Spanish. My most recent jobs were at Providence Academy (3 years) and Bay Port High School (17 years). I feel especially blessed to be part of the caring family at Pilgrim, which includes my daughter-in-law and three grandsons. I enjoy knitting, taking walks with my husband of 52 years, and spending time at our cabin in Armstrong Creek, WI. This year I hope to help my students know our Saviour better and walk more closely with Him.
I received my teaching education from Concordia University - Mequon, Wisconsin, with concentrations in Broad Area Science and Business, and obtained additional teaching Certifications. In addition, I majored in Psychology and Social Work at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and earned an M.B.A. I am the Departmentalized Science teacher (grades 5 - 8), K-6 Computer teacher, and work with the primary grades small Reading groups. God has truly blessed me through the opportunity to teach all of the K-8 students at Pilgrim Lutheran School.
Hello! My name is Diana Stockfisch. I am one of the 3rd grade teachers here at Pilgrim! I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. I also have a master's degree in Special Education through NW Missouri State. This is my third year here at Pilgrim and I absolutely love it. My family (husband; Peter, daughter; Summer & son; Evan) and I moved to Green Bay in the peak of Covid. We are so blessed to have found Pilgrim not only for our home church, but also a wonderful place for me to work! The past two years I taught the 3K Preschool classes. Prior to living in Green Bay, my family and I lived in O'Fallon, MO. There I taught Preschool for two years. Prior to MO, we lived in the Minneapolis area for 13 years where I taught Preschool & 1st grade. I also have 2 years of teaching Kindergarten before moving to MN. The Lord has blessed me with many various schools and cities in my teaching career and I'm so glad He has chosen me to be right here, right now.
My name is Michaela Wilaby. I graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2021 with a Major in Early Childhood Education and a Minor in Psychology. I served as a Kindergarten teacher at Pilgrim last year. This year I am now team teaching First Grade. I am so blessed to serve at Pilgrim where I am able to share the love of Christ each day with the students in my classroom!
Hi there! My name is Kayla Ziesmer. I am very blessed to be one of Pilgrim's Kindergarten teachers. In 2013, I graduated from St. Norbert College with a degree in Elementary Education and minors in Early Childhood and Spanish. While studying there, I was fortunate to have met my husband, Patrick. We became parents to Michael in May of 2022 and have learned that life with an infant is rarely dull! Previously, I taught 4K and 2nd grade Dual Language in Racine, as well as 1st and 3rd grade bilingual in Green Bay. This will be my 10th year teaching and I am looking forward to being able to share God's Word with my students. We are going to have an amazing year learning and growing together in Christ!
Hello, I'm Christine Malme and I've been teaching 4K at Pilgrim since 2009. I've also enjoyed teaching 3rd, 4th, and Kindergarten at Zion, Harvester, MO, St. Andrew, Park Ridge, IL, and St. Paul, Rockford, IL. I graduated from Concordia Chicago with a degree in Elementary Education and a Master's in Church Music. Pastor Malme and I have three grown children and when I'm not in the classroom I'm playing with my granddaughter.
