The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) has a membership of over 250,000. It is composed of individual women and women's groups within congregations of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, on campuses, in resident homes, or in other settings. All ladies of the congregation are considered members.
For over 60 years the organization has sought to develop and maintain a greater mission consciousness among women of the LCMS through education, inspiration, and service.
The LWML focuses on
- Richer Spiritual Living
- Global Awareness for Ministry
- Avenues for God-blessed Service
Our Mission
The mission of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League is to assist each woman of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world. If you do not wish to attend meetings please consider helping with an event. There is much you can do at home.
